Mad for Plaid

I’m sorry, I thought this was the uniform.
— Jess, Gilmore Girls

Plaid was a big deal for Fall/Winter Fashion Week 2018, as the various types made their way down the runway in every form. From coats to blouses, pants to skirts, every garment was saturated- it’s clearly the Fall uniform. Take a look at how I styled my newest plaid shirt from my Wantable edit with pieces you probably already own in your closet.

Accentuating the bell sleeves of this plaid shirt, I threw on a 3/4-sleeved pullover and I am digging the outcome. By the way, if you are thinking of adding clogs to your Fall shoe collection, make sure to grab one from MIA. They’re so fun and surprisingly comfortable and will add character to basics with ease.

Not gonna lie, I felt ultra cool with this outfit on but I’m starting to believe that any outfit topped with a leather jacket inevitably makes you ultra cool level. I knew I wanted to break-in these new wide leg jeans from the Ashley Graham and Marina Rinaldi collab available through navabi. I suggest to order a size-up with this collection because the pieces I tried on were a bit snug.

Here’s an outfit with the best of Fall trends. Utility vest jacket on top of a plaid shirt, booties, and a wide brim hat to top it all off. Best part is- I’m quite sure you already own similar pieces. Wantable also mentioned this look on their blog so make sure to check it out and also see how other fashion bloggers styled the plaid Fall trend favorite.
